Review of Heaven (2002) by Steve W — 26 Apr 2009
Even though it is has some great cinematography and tension at the beginning, the overall story is just plain terrible. The story seems like were thrown in halfway through and is short. The acting is decent for such talent attached.
The opening is the best part of the movie. The rest of it drags on and on, and it doesn't have a conclusion. I was expecting a taut thriller but got a mixed bag of one combined with a half-assed romance and some philosophical things deeper meanings.
Even thought I liked The International and Run Lola Run, this film didn't cut it for me. Ultimately disappointing.
