Review of Heat (1995) by Anonymous User — 08 Jul 2013
What is amazing regarding these reviews, is most came came late in the game. This movie is an under the radar, all time, cops and robbers classic, arguably the greatest of all time. Many, will never grasp the settle accuracies of this movie.
I remember I as a boy, watching this movie and witnessing a remarkable piece of action mixed with a great story. In Iraq, I would realize what made this movie so great many years later. A movie created with such attention to detail, that one of my Sergeants whom had done multiple tours pointed out how this movie illustrates precision regression moves.
One only needs to watch how they tap yell, "move" following the bank robbery, take great cov er positions, lay down suppression fire to adavnce, and escape. Those who do not understand tactics, may never appreciate the intricate details of this movie; however, to those who see this rare display of military tactics in a crime movie, interlaced with great acting and storytelling, will appreciate this as perhaps the greatest crime story of all time.
