Easily one of the most insightful documentaries about filmmaking, this tracks Francis Ford Coppola as he encounters extraordinary problems to make his masterpiece "Apocalypse Now." Incorporating footage shot by Coppola's wife Eleanor and with interview footage with some of the cast and crew this one truly shows an artist braving all the odds to make his masterpiece.
It nearly beaks him (some say it did break him), but he survives. So does the masterpiece.
