"Apocalypse Now!" is infamous for the countless stories about what went on behind the scenes of the film, but you don't know anything until you see it all documented in "Hearts of Darkness".

One of the most interesting documentaries I've ever seen, this makes me have a brand new respect for Coppola's work. When Dennis Hopper and Marlon Brando are in your movie and aren't the biggest problems in the filming process, you have one difficult project.

Harrowing, surprising, and completely engaging, this is almost more compelling than "Apocalypse Now!" itself.
