Review of Heartbreak Ridge (1955) by Neil H — 19 Jul 2010
One of Clint's finest. A story about a grizzled war veteran who is about to retire, but must train a spoiled group of misfits while clashing with superiors and his ex-wife.
They do a lot of things right. The characters are funny and unique, and the dialogue is superb. A lot of comedy is injected into the movie, as well as character development.
A great performance from Eastwood as well. Not to be missed.
