Review of Heartbreak Ridge (1955) by Allan C — 13 Dec 2012
Clint Eastwood plays an old marine sergeant that has been played many times, but never as gritty and colorfully as this. The script is notable for its lively and creative profanity. With Mario Van Peebles, it tells the last hurrah of a marine approaching retirement, training the recruits, and then going to war in Grenada.
