Review of Hawk the Slayer (1980) by Eve F — 27 Feb 2008
Aparently this cost about £1m to make, most of which went on Jack Palances salary I think!! But in reality there are cameos by loads of British actors, and despite being so low budget, remains an enjoyable film to watch. Stodgy dialogue adds to the effect:
"My son Drogo speaks true....".
"Then I let the secret die....now!".
"And the giant, felled by a pinch of powder....".
