Review of Hatchet (2006) by Timothy B — 16 Apr 2012
Describing it as "old-school American horror" isn't saying much, but the film lives up to that. More of a time machine to 1982 than a modern twist on the slasher genre, the film delivers nonetheless, with gore, shocks, and laughs to match many of the genre's classics, second-tier though they may be.
