Review of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002) by Freddie K — 08 Aug 2015
Where things really start to pick up in the franchise. There is more fantasy action that I wanted to see in the previous film and where we start delving into the lore of magic and the darkness of it as well.
This movie does fail in making the basilisk mysterious by letting it speak to Harry constantly and letting it show its work off camera. You can stay faithful to the novel, but to entertain, you need a little extra entertainment.
