Review of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002) by Davidtejada — 27 Apr 2018

(A POTTERHEAD'S REVIEW) "After watching the first one, a nice introduction to this whole new world, I could say that CHAMBER OF SECRETS (COS) slightly improved the original one with some extra suspenseful sequences, a little improve of the visual effects and a more involving plot...".

COS may not be a movie for everyone, it depends on how much you like some movie genres (like the mistery ones), but what we can say is that the movie was already familiar (not only the Hogwarts Vocabulary but the character development itself). Also to bare in mind the nice addition of new characters such as Dobby, Lucius Malfoy, and Gilderoy Lockhart.

We all have to consider that it was quite long (a 3-hour-movie may bore most of the audience) and not so funny at all, but it is appreciated the performances, the environments and the dramatic sequences... A point that IT'S ALWAYS THE BEST is (of course) the interaction and good-vibes provided by Radcliffe, Watson and Grint (I'll NEVER get tired of my favourite trio-characters ever). A final point it's the relation between the J.K Rowling 1998's book and the 2002's movie itself, which was amazing because I've never seen a movie well detailed and loyal to its book. That was a HUGE POSITIVE THING about COS.

Overall, the movie is very good and it shows a whole different production over the first one. Also what is good is the genre presented (a mistery movie, which was really good) and finally a very intriguing release for all the franchise...
