Review of Harry Brown (2009) by Walter M — 14 Jul 2011
A taut, grim portrait of urban crime filtered through a British lens. Michael Caine is exceptional, giving one of his very best performances, and while the film is very much a slow burn, the deliberate pace only serves to make the eventual climax that much more suspenseful and effective.
