Review of Harry Brown (2009) by Bernie M — 22 May 2015
A very sad, excellent revenge movie. Caine is a brilliant actor and really shows it here. He carries the whole thing wonderfully. It's pretty much a British version of Gran Torino. A lot of drama and suspense.
The scene with the gun dealers had me completely engaged, you could feel the intensity and uncomfortableness. The interrogation scene is great too. The whole movie also feels very real like it could actually happen.
Very real villains in the gang kids. Definitely glad I saw this one, a nice little independent British film that is very well made.
