Review of Harry Brown (2009) by Japes . — 20 Nov 2011
Looks like Alfred is tired of Batman's "no killing" shit! I liked it and disliked it at the same time. It's pretty rare that a film confounds me so much. There was a lot of things that this film could have delved into, the plot hints at ideas without ever really exploring them and it becomes a mindless thriller by the end were the rioting seemingly comes out of nowhere.
Also Caine's badassery is a little tough to believe at times, but then again, it's really awesome to watch Michael Caine shoot up chavs for a couple hours.
