Review of Harold and Maude (1971) by Charlie S — 16 Jul 2014
One of my all time favorite movies about a young man whose penchant for death brings with an elderly woman who has a zest for life. Through out the movie they try to help each other overcome things like Harold's obsession, his mother's need to fuss over him and Maude with her wisdom and energy that would rival a woman half her age.
Best of all the soundtrack was done by Cat Stevens and really helps the movie with its nostalgia but spiritual feel to it. If you're looking for a movie about life and all its eccentrics then look no further.
