Review of Harlem Nights (1989) by Emeka W — 01 May 2007
No other movie in recent history has ever had soo many laughs from start to finish. Pryor, Murphy, Foxx, Hall, Reese, all give a performance of a lifetime. No one was banking on Eddie Murphy to direct a classic right off the bat but he did.
Harlem Nights is what most comedys use to shot for but ended up being terrible if not worst. At best we should honor the comedians who are no longer with us Robin Harris, Redd Roxx, and Mr. Richard Pryor.
