Review of Hardcore Henry (2015) by Jim M — 10 Apr 2016

At release, there was nothing like it in theaters. I liked Cloverfield, so I'm all in for first-person action movies. I thought the final scene went off the rails too much--the majority of the movie is controlled chaos, whereas the end is just chaos.

I'm okay with the movie being slim on backstory. All you need to know is eventually presented (and when everything reveals itself, it is a bit of a mindfuck); although, once I did know everything, I had some questions about why certain characters did certain things when their motives did add up.

That's tough to discuss without spoilers. Still, it's good, and worth seeing.
