Review of Hard Boiled (1992) by Christine A — 15 Mar 2009
John Woo's Hard Boiled and The Killer share many tendencies, but I enjoyed Hard Boiled a bit less. I'm not easily impressed by excessive explosions and gunplay, but nevertheless, in this film, it's executed masterfully.
In all, the film is, for the most part, entertaining, but not as engaging as its predecessor, The Killer.
