"Hey! X-rated Action".
This movie is insane. that's the best way to describe it. John Woo pulls out all the stops for this non-stop gunfight. The action sequences are ridiculous, but amazing to watch. The plot is pretty standard. Run of the mill bad cop/undercover cop vs. gang lord. It's not hard to get the gist of the movie and where it ends up going, but you want to keep watching anyway. If you want a movie that is basically 2 hours of shit blowing up, to skip this would be quite the disservice.
