Review of The Weathered Underground (2010) by Kay S — 16 May 2010
I was so excited to watch this film, since "choose your own adventure" was my favorite style of Goosebumps books. Sadly, this movie doesn't have the same effect. I could stand to get through 2 of the story lines before I shut it off.
While the idea was good, the execution wasn't. I couldn't get through the narration of the main character, which is the majority of each storyline. Nor could I deal with the frequency of choices.
One every 2 minutes? If they were a little more drawn out, I may I have liked this movie better. Maybe.
