Review of Harakiri (1962) by Toooooke M — 27 Jun 2010
I've never seen a movie like this in my life and I was shocked that something like this would ever even be made. It was intense and made me think "oh my god, I can't believe this is happening," for the duration of the film and at at least two specific instances. I didn't see anything that happened coming, and was actually wondering how the hell this was all going to be wrapped up. Literally from the opening scene to the ending shot (which was perfect) this movie was amazing and demanded my attention, which is extremely rare.
The only negative thing I have to say doesn't affect the story it's just that the decapitation scene was lame and stood out against the awesomeness of everything else in the flick.
