Review of Harakiri (1962) by Alex D — 14 Dec 2012
Honestly I think this may just be one of my new favorite movies. Everything to me was just perfect. The story was intricate and told through flashbacks but simultaneously in the present. And boy o boy how I loved the cinematography.
A lot of really nice framing and moving shots that make the films more dialogue heavy sections more interesting and the action scenes much more intense. Probably the most emotionally charged samurai film I have seen.
