Review of Hannibal Rising (2007) by Mark G — 07 Apr 2009
Pretty good, reasonably faithful to the average book and a nice history of all things Hannibal. Just not the same without Hopkins although Gaspard Ulliel played a fairly convincing young Hannibal although limited to the same facial expression throughout.
The whole premise reeks of trying to keep a cash cow alive though. Time for Thomas Harris to unleash a new monster on the world!
