The problem within this one is just how pretentious it gets, plus there are so many exotic elements going on leading to nowhere. Skipping that, and watching it as an independent movie, it's really good.
Nevertheless, if you think of it as a prequel, it explains but doesn't justify anything. It works fine for me, considering the whole saga *saga, haha*.
