Review of Hannibal Rising (2007) by Bill T — 27 May 2012

Hannibal Lecter gets the Batman treatment! Kid watches his parents murdered by evil bad guys! His sister gets eaten by even badder ones, and then Hannibal grows up and swears revenge on those who screwed him up! Quite amusing if you keep thinking up similarities (they both have a mask!) The movie is pretty good, entertaining, but not really in the vein of all the other movies in the Silence Of The Lambs Canon (this one doesn't have a lot of suspense), but it's still interesting to watch.
