Review of Hannibal Rising (2007) by Nolan M — 05 Apr 2015
Despite having terrible reviews, I thiught this movie was great!
The subject matter was dark and quite disturbing but the beginnings of Hannibal Lector aren't going to be sunshine and rainbows. The mood was set from the start, it was an on the edge of your seat kind of suspense and a gut wrenching, sickening sense of despair and gore. I thought that the balance was spot on and that the story was cleverly written.
