Review of Hang 'em High (1968) by Corwin M — 18 Sep 2011
This movie is right up there in tales of just desserts with The Count of Monte Cristo, only without the astronomically improbability and the egregious foppery of the court at Versailles. The judge he serves as a marshall under adds an excellent second sympathetic strongman character and a contrasting personality that polarizes the movie between the two lead characters magnificently.
Indeed, it was high time for westerns to be filmed on American soil.
