Review of Hamlet 2 (2008) by Nate A — 07 Jul 2011
This movie taught me to have faith in Focus Features. Even if a movie is maketed poorly (a la "In Bruges"), the fact that it came through Focus is enough for me to have faith it will be good.
And this is no exception, Hamlet 2 is hilarious. Steve Coogan gives his all, and the movie succeeds at offending just about everybody in a hilarious way. The movie may be marketed as a mainstream comedy, but it's definitely a quirky indie comedy at heart.
