Review of Hamburger Hill (1987) by Michael B — 07 Aug 2008
I enjoy war movies a lot, especially Vietnam movies. But unless you have a good set of characters that you care about, good direction, and you care about the fight that the characters are involved in, then you're just watching a bunch of arbitrary pointless battle scenes.
That's what this movie felt like. The non-combat scenes and dialogue all felt very cliche. Overall the weakest Vietname movie I've seen.
