Picking up minutes after the original, Laurie Strode is taken to the hospital, which come to think of it is rather empty, and finds that Michael Myers has followed her looking to claim more victims.

Deceint follow up (certainly better then Rob Zombies second attempt) that ups the body count and gore. Follows the tried and true slasher formula except, and this is a biggie, the cops appear competent. In most slasher movies the cops, big city or small town, are shit stupid. The cops here at least look like there taking the situation seriously and are being proactive. This makes Michael more threatening people. After all if no one takes the Slasher seriously then its hard for the audience, if however we have the authorities pulling out all the stops we know that the Slasher is not to be fucked with even before Donald Pleasence (who is awesome) opens his mouth.
