Halloween 2 picks up immediately after the first film where Michael Meyers is shot and they can't find his body. Jamie Lee Curtis is sent to the hospital which happens to be nearly empty and Meyers follows her there to finish what he started.
You learn how Curtis is connected to his. Otherwise, a pretty by the numbers slasher. Doesn't really try to do anything new, but barely does enough to be just ok.
