Review of Halloween H20: 20 Years Later (1998) by Bill B — 17 Sep 2015
I happened to re-watch this awhile back while staying in a hotel room, and unfortunately reiterated my feelings from back in the VHS days: that it's just *okay*, but just seems to be very much a product of the horror genre proliferating in the '90s. Very few actual scares, more along the lines of a psychological thriller than a horror film, it never really gets to you as much as you'd hope a direct sequel to the first two films would.
Plus there's the goofiest kid in the world dating the hottest girl, which just seemed strange to me and kept throwing me out of the movie because it was so silly.
Rental.
