Review of Halloween (2018) by Joe B — 25 Oct 2018
Artistic, high tension filled with bits of atmosphere dashed around that makes this movie a true successor to the original. There is passion, dedication and thought that all work together that really make this movie not only a very successful sequel but an example of how horror movies should be made.
Jamie Lee Curtis is fantastic as a woman battling with old scars that still feel fresh and deep. After all the lackluster, cheaply made sequels that reeked of cheese, its refreshing to see a director that understands the technicality of the original and how it made Michael Myers the ultimate bogeyman.
