They turned Michael Myers into Jason Vorhees. It's as if David Gordon Green saw the first movie and said, "He only kills six people, and there's no blood...that's not scary!" Halloween 2018 is a cliche slasher film painted with all the aesthetics of the original movie (score, title card, camera angles).
I feel tricked.
