Review of Halloween (2007) by Richard R — 28 May 2014

This movie would have happily been a four star were it not for the second half. The first half beautifully sets up the birth of a notorious serial killer set against a backdrop of poverty and abuse. It is a haunting psychological thriller as we see Michael fall further into the Abyss.

Then along comes the babysitters and it devolves into a lot of breasts on display while randomly unlikeable characters are murdered one by one. Good start, crap pay off.
