Review of Halloween (2007) by Leonard D — 04 Oct 2016
I have seen a few movies where the protagonist is the victim of an abusive household, and I try to sympathize with him/her, but for a remake like this, Michael Myers origin story isn't developed well enough to show us on how he became the psychotic murderer whom we've grown to fear and love.
I admire Rob Zombie for trying here, since one or two elements almost made the movie work, but still, it's devolved into nothing but a random slasher film, with hardly any story, and paper thin characters.
What a shame!
