A really impressive return to the director's chair for Mel Gibson as Hacksaw Ridge is filled with good performances especially from Andrew Garfield and Hugo Weaving, some extremely violent war battle scenes (Seriously, probably the most violent and gory feel-good movie I've ever seen), and optimism.
One of the most inspirational and best movies of the year that deserves a few Oscar nominations.
