Review of Hacksaw Ridge (2016) by Shag00 — 22 Jun 2019
The movie to long which is something that I rarely feel. The first half is a tough slog being itself 50/50 army boot camp dross and religious zealotry. Quite hard to sit through.
The main character is a bit odd in that despite his fairly dire predicament he is portrayed as smiling like an idiot in many early scenes.
The second half of the movie saves it.
