Review of Guess Who's Coming to Dinner (1967) by Keenan S — 05 Mar 2013
Guess Who's Coming To Dinner is nothing short of a superb film that has not aged one bit, despite some people bitching about it think. I think it does a marvelous job at looking at the issue of race and it forces its characters to confront the issue, revealing their own prejudices in the process, despite their denials of such prejudices.
It's a beautifully made and very compelling film that didn't let me go until it was over. I was captivated from beginning to end since the story is phenomenal, the acting is superb, I loved the humor, it's heartwarming, it's emotional, and it also gets its messages across beautifully.
It's one of the best dramas I've ever seen and I highly recommend it if you love a good drama.
