Review of Guess Who's Coming to Dinner (1967) by Luxo J — 31 Mar 2010
This has got fantastic acting, the performances are just so believable, especially Sidney Poitier.
What I didn't like was the last twenty minutes or so. It was so dragged on and it just got boring. All I wanted to know was whether their marriage would get approved or not. It's probably because of the one setting, yes, I know there are a lot of different parts of the house, but I still felt as if it were on a stage or something.
The main reason to watch this would be to see Sidney Poitier's great acting. I've said it once, and I'll say it again, the acting in Guess Who's Coming to Dinner is fantastic.
