Yes, the script is terrible. Yes, this movie is clichè central for comedy movies. But, lets also congratulate the actors in this movie for their fantastic chemistry between each other. That's what gets out the laughs.
I personally loved all of the actors in this movie, but I do have to admit that this was a terrible/awful/why did I just watch that(?) script, but I laughed quite a lot. The end was predictable as always in David Spade movies, but I guess I'm used to that now.
