Review of Gridlock'd (1997) by Jack M — 07 Jul 2010
The partnership from Tim Roth and Tupac Shakur really cemented this movie. Its not your simple comedy, action movie about drugs. This really is a twisted look at a stoner movie, its a movie that will keep you entertained the whole time.
From scenes such as Roth stabbing Tupac just so they could get into the hospital easier, to them selling a video camera, which is actually just a bunch of bricks in a box to a mob boss. Its a terrific movie overall, the script was fabulous and it just seemed like Roth and Shakur were in their natural habitat.
And the real world conversations gave this movie alot of feel. Its a terrific look on a plain and out-dated genre.
