A slice of life of an adult drama. I suppose this would be something similar like The Squid and The Whale, Sideways, Up in the Air, etc. If you think that this movie isn't funny or don't get the point of the whole movie then clearly you're indeed missing the point! This is a stream of consciousness movie that mostly a character study of an unlikable character.
I cannot really explain furthermore. That is why, I am not sure if I can recommend this movie to very many people.
