Review of Green Zone (2010) by Jared R — 12 May 2013
A fictional dramatization of the early days of the US occupation of Iraq. The movie feels very authentic in portraying the experience of US troops and to a lesser degree of Iraqi citizens. The action scenes are very well shot and edited and seem real as you watch them.
The story is plausible and accurately reflects what I have heard described of the search for the non-existent WMD that had been Bush's justification for the war. Another excellent performance by Matt Damon and very good work by supporting actors.
