Review of Green Room (2016) by Jesus M — 10 Apr 2016

This movie is not what I would consider a Horror film. There is some gore sure, but to me this is definitely more of a Suspenseful Thriller. While the movie sets up its main characters enough. It does little to flesh them out.

Which in a way works for the movie because of the type of movie it is. I won't go into who dies or doesn't die as I wouldn't want to spoil anything. To the critics who say that the end is anticlimactic I say, it's supposed to be.

After so much tension and suspense throughout the movie, the ending is its own breath of relief. I really do wish the movie was longer so it could take time to explain more of what's going on. Believe me if you pay attention you'll definitely have questions after the movie ends.

However I feel if you want those answers, all you have to do is re-watch the movie again. I highly recommend seeing this movie. It's not a perfect movie, but it's darn good for sure.
