Green Room is a worthy follow up for Jeremy Saulnier after his masterful Blue Ruin. Excruciatingly tense, brutally violent, yet unquestionably effective. While it's lacking just enough of an emotional core to put it on the same pedestal as Blue Ruin, I will be eagerly awaiting whatever color Saulnier tackles next.
