Review of Green Lantern: First Flight (2009) by Cory W — 29 Jul 2010
Man, these DC animated movies aren't half bad. "Green Lantern: First Flight" is a solid adaptation of the classic character's origins. Although the beginning was a tad bit annoying by taking the plunge into the story without any background information, the film does soar to new heights for the duration of the short run time.
This, in the end, is really more of Sinestro's movie than Green Lanterns, but I did feel that this is a faithful and fun adaptation that will suffice until "Green Lantern" hits next summer.
Overall, this DC animated flick is a solid, entertaining effort.
