In Gravesend, a neighborhood in Brooklyn New York, four friends are sitting in a basement on what seems to be just another Saturday night. But this night turns into a nightmare when one of them called Zane (Tony Tucci) by mistake shoots and kills the older brother of Ray (Michael Parducci).

The four decides not to go to the cops, but to get rid off the body themselves, but it seems like everything goes wrong on this night. "Gravesend" is a very low budget 'crime-gone-wrong' drama and is the debut film for Salvatore Stabile, who at the time was 22 years old when he directed it.

It has some moments, even if the acting and the directing is not the best. Still this type of story has been done many times before and better.

This review of Gravesend (2007) was written by on 22 Feb 2008.

Gravesend has generally received mixed reviews.
