Review of Fracture (2007) by Murder C — 16 Jan 2011
Ted Crawford (Anthony Hopkins) shoots his cheating wife in their home and is arrested. Young prosecutor Willy Beachum (Ryan Gosling) takes on the case thinking it will be a quick trial with Ted already signing a confession, however the evidence does not add up and the suggested murder weapon has not ever been fired.
"Fracture" is not the most memorable thriller but still a solid one. Hopkins gives his character that 'Hannibal'-ish style only Hopkins can pull off and Gosling is good too. Some slow parts, but still recommended.
