Review of Grave Encounters 2 (2012) by Zane C — 24 Oct 2012
The first film was something I was on the fence about, I did enjoy the film up until the twist and the time they kinda wasted during the 3rd act. Since then I've grown to like it more and more. Grave Encounters 2 did something really cool, it becomes meta in the sense that the first film was a film in Grave Encounters 2.
I do applaud them for doing it and actually pulling it off unlike something like Human Centipede 2. That being said, it worked for the first half until they go through the motions from the first film with a twist that slowed the film down.
By the end it just fails to find a proper ending.
