If ONLY movies today could possibly be made this way. the many characters each carry their weight and keep your attention all throughout the film. the costume and set design is beautiful. A fan of Joan Crawford, it was nice to see her before she hit the big time (this was her breakthrough) and see the softer side of her (face, make up, acting, voice).
